Susan Lindberg is an experienced leader in capital intensive, highly regulated industries, collaborating with management and boards on growth and transformation initiatives at major and mid-cap U.S. and international public companies. She has more than 25 years of experience as an attorney in the energy sector, including as a public company general counsel. She is presently a shareholder at GableGotwals in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she specializes in corporate transactions, and corporate governance matters, including cybersecurity.
Prior to joining GableGotwals, Susan was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of SemGroup Corporation. She was also General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the U.S. subsidiary of Italian energy company Eni SpA. Before joining Eni, Susan held key legal and government affairs roles in the interstate natural gas pipeline business at Duke Energy and at Enron Corp. She began her career at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
Susan is an author of a chapter on cybersecurity in legal treatise Energy Law & Transactions (LexisNexis). She holds a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Tulsa. She earned both her law degree and her undergraduate degree in the Plan II Liberal Arts program at the University of Texas.
