Leveraging his broad network in the legal finance sector, his experience as a legal finance funder, and trial counsel experience in hundreds of jury and bench trials, Grant also provides legal finance advisory services. Arran Capital’s advisory practice assists legal finance investors and institutions, law firms, and legal claim holders, to secure favorable legal finance funding arrangements. After graduating from the University of Iowa, Grant started his career as a congressional staffer and lobbyist in Washington, D.C. Grant’s expansive legal career included public service as a prosecutor, legislative counsel, and as Evanston, Illinois’ Corporation Counsel for 8.5 years. While at Evanston, he successfully litigated or negotiated matters that generated several million dollars in affirmative recoveries and additional revenues for taxpayers. Grant was also a partner with a national trial practice at Bollinger, Ruberry & Garvey in Chicago. Grant is a certified Executive Scholar from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
